Hayley Boyce, MDS, is a data science education specialist for the UBC Master of Data Science (MDS) program and formerly worked for the UBC Department of Statistics. In addition to developing course syllabi and content, Hayley has taught a lab in machine learning and participated in the MDS Capstone Seminar Series where she presented a workshop on how to use Tableau for data visualization. Before joining UBC, Hayley worked as a digital analyst and scientist for a private company. She has extensive education in statistical and machine learning methods, and excels at simplifying complex concepts for students.
