Spend an Unforgettable Summer at UBC
UBC Future Global Leaders is a pre-university program for high school students ages 15-18 that attracts ambitious, motivated students from across Canada and around the world.
Explore your academic passions and interests at a top university, make lifelong friends, and prepare for your future beyond high school.
Session Dates
- Session 1: July 1–12, 2024
- Session 2: July 15–26, 2024
- Session 3: July 29 – August 9, 2024
If you choose the residence option, please arrange to arrive the day before the start of your program, and leave the day after your program ends.
Eligibility
This program is open to high school students ages 15–18 who have completed grade 10 or equivalent. Check your eligibility.
Residence or Commuter Options
Live the full university experience by staying in a student residence. Or commute daily to UBC Vancouver or the Centre for Digital Media.
Explore Your Interests
UBC Future Global Leaders academic courses and mini schools are taught by UBC professors and affiliated instructors at a first-year university level.

Campus Life & Accommodations
Live university life to the fullest at the stunning 400-acre UBC Vancouver campus. Stay in a residence in a single furnished bedroom, join other Future Global Leaders in the cafeteria, and enjoy recreation and attractions, all minutes away from your room. Students in residence enjoy weekend excursions to beautiful beaches, shopping downtown and Vancouver attractions.
