Cait Murphy

CAIT MURPHY, BS, MA, is an Engagement Specialist (Regional and International Engagement) at the UBC Sustainability HUB.

Cait has worked on environmental and social sustainability initiatives locally and abroad and has a keen interest in climate change and methods to motivate sustainable action. Previously, she led BC-based programs on climate change adaptation and resilience and engaged local government employees in sustainable behaviour-change in the San Francisco Bay Area.

She currently leads the Regional and International Engagement program at the UBC Sustainability Hub, undertaking projects such as the Climate Change Conference of Parties (COP) delegations.

Cait holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Arts in Disasters, Adaptation and Development from King's College London. She is a member of UBC Liaison to the University Climate Change Coalition (UC3) and a UBC representative to the Vancouver Just Transition Coalition.
