In our French and Spanish Summer Institutes, connect to rich cultures from around the world. Enjoy music, song, poetry, videos and more, all drawn from modern Francophone or Spanish and Latin American life. On select days, take part in engaging workshops and visits from special guests who live and work in the language you’re learning.
In our American Sign Language Summer Institutes, learn from Deaf and DeafBlind instructors in an immersive, signing-only environment. Learn how to use your hands, body, facial expressions and movement to communicate. Understand the cultural and linguistic importance of this complete visual language. Appreciate Deaf culture and history and the lived experiences of Deaf people, and connect with guests from the Deaf community.
