Dr. Eric Grafstein is the Regional Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine, and the Chair of the Regional Emergency Services Program at Providence Health Care and Vancouver Coastal Health. He also led the development of an Emergency Administrative Database for Health Services Research and spearheaded several IT projects, including an electronic discharge summary application and a real-time electronic Emergency Department (ED) dashboard. His current research interests include health services and systems research as it pertains to hospital emergency departments and clinical emergency medicine.
