Yael Blum, CEC, PCC, is Director of Organizational Development and Learning, UBC Human Resources. Yael has been coaching leaders and teaching coaching skills for more than 15 years.
As an early contributor to Coaching@UBC, Yael forged essential relationships within what has become a strong community of coaching practice at the University. She is a member of the Extended Learning advisory board for the UBC Certificate in Organizational Coaching program, as well as an instructor and mentor coach.
Now, as Director of Organizational Development and Learning, Yael is more motivated than ever to support faculty and staff in mastering the communication skills associated with workplace coaching. She recognizes first-hand the value that curiosity, listening, creativity and compassion play in moving UBC’s strategic priorities forward.
