Computer Specifications

For best performance and an optimal experience, we recommend using Canvas with a computer that supports the most recent versions of popular browsers (for example, Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, etc.). We also recommend you use a computer five years old or newer with at least 1GB of RAM.

Operating System

Canvas requires an operating system that can run the latest compatible web browsers. Your computer operating system should be kept up to date with the latest recommended security updates and upgrades.

Browsers

Canvas can be used on the current and most recent major release of Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari. Canvas runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android or any other device with an up-to-date web browser.

Internet Speed

Canvas has been designed to accommodate low bandwidth environments. We recommend you have a minimum internet speed of 512kbps.

JavaScript

JavaScript must be enabled to run Canvas.

Using Canvas on a Mobile Device

You can access Canvas on your mobile device through mobile-supported browsers, however functionality might be limited. Canvas was optimized for desktop displays so using small screen devices such as a smartphone may not be optimal. If you do want to use your mobile device, for the best user experience please download the Canvas mobile application in the Apple store or Google Play.

Troubleshooting Browser Problems

Many problems with missing form fields, buttons that do not function, or other page display issues are caused by your browser. Here are some things to try to fix viewing problems:

  • Try using a different browser or device. For example, if you're using Google Chrome, try Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari.
  • Make sure your browser is the most current version.
  • Check your browser settings to make sure both JavaScript and cookies are enabled.
  • Clear your browser's cache.
